Hey, I’m Natalie Thayer, LPC-A—and I’m a firm believer that healing happens when we feel truly seen (and not judged).
If you're stuck in unhelpful patterns, weighed down by grief, struggling with addiction, or just plain overwhelmed with life—I've got you. I work with teens, adults, and couples helping you understand what's going on beneath the surface and find practical ways to heal from within.
My therapy style is compassionate, curious, centered around you and real. You can expect honest conversation, moments of insight, maybe a laugh or two, and a space where all parts of you are welcome (yes, even the parts you may try to hide).

In individual counseling, we’ll work together to help you navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, grief or life transitions using a combination of Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) . These approaches help you understand how your thoughts and inner parts shape your experiences—and how to bring compassion, balance, and healing to your life. You’ll gain practical tools and deeper insight to move forward with confidence and self-trust.
Relationships can hit bumps—whether you’ve been together a few weeks or a few decades. The earlier you work through things, the better! In couples counseling, we’ll build tools to improve communication, unpack any past baggage that might be showing up in the present relationship, and help you truly understand and connect with your partner on a deeper level so that true friendship can be formed in the relationship.
Teenage years can be difficult when navigating school stress, friendships, relationships, pressures and mental health. In teen counseling I work with teens in helping them navigate certain challenges and difficulties they may be facing, building their self esteem and creating healthy coping mechanisms. I have experience working with teens struggling with body image issues, self-harm, anxiety, stress, OCD, depression. In these sessions teens get support to make healthy choices and grow, while parents get encouragement and tools to help along the way.
